I Have Been Told "No lock, don't shop". Why don't I see the "lock"?

The "No lock, don't shop" is a great slogan and MarketExpo.com encourages its use. However, it is a bit misleading.

During normal browsing and adding items to your shopping cart, security is NOT required. Only during checkout is security needed.

AT THE TIME OF CHECKOUT, YOUR BROWSER AND YOUR SHOPPING CART ARE TRANSFERRED TO OUR SSL SECURE SERVER FOR THE TRANSACTION.

There you will fill out your billing information and credit card number under the guarded security of our SSL secure server.

Why isn't the Entire Site of MarketExpo.com under a Secure Server?

As mentioned before, it is NOT necessary to do so. Secondly, by freeing up the secure server from non-security required pages, the server can more freely and speedily handle the secure transactions.
